I just noticed I got a $2200 deposit into my checking on 4/15. Is that the stimulus money? It just says IRS Treas.

What I don't understand is people who haven't lost their income getting the checks ... like cops for example. Cops are not being asked to stay home during the outbreak (quite the contrary), but are receiving these checks. How does that make sense? What am I not getting?

Read 2 pages, got too pissed to continue.
There are many here just like a few at work. I'm still working.
They complain about welfare recipients, even food stamps for
the many low wage workers here.
But give them a chance to get "Free Money" from "The Government",
And they jump in line with the Welfare Rats. And will try to game the
system. It's disgraceful.
The same with the $600 UC. I have little trouble with helping those
who lose income. But to give a low wage employee more benefit than
their working wage? I have been laid off when the fund was low on money.
They just flat took around $70/week off my check. And i understood that.
But now, they are dumping cash like pouring piss out of a boot.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
