FOR SALE:

My custom 6x47 Lapua built on a S/S Remington 700 short action.

Bolt fluted by LRI.

22" Brux 8" twist in a modified #2 contour.

Reamer used has a .269" neck, throated for the 105 class bullets.

Stock is a new McMillan Classic, ADL, regular fill, with factory pillars, 2 sling studs, 2 left side flush cups, not bedded, weighs in at 28.5 ozs. It was given my custom camo sponge paint job, topped off with several coats of matte clear.

Trigger is a tuned old school blued version.

Hair over 600 rounds fired. I don't need three 6x47's, or trades......

$1495.00 shipped priority mail to your FFL who must accept from a private individual, no exceptions.

Payment by what ever's convenient with an appropriate wait.

Barreled action will be sent to the FFL, or better yet if you have an action wrench, just the action will be sent to them. The remaining parts will be sent direct to the buyer with tracking info.

Scope, rings, & bipod are not included.

Currently there is a VX-R 3x9x40 CDS with the Firedot duplex on top that is available with the gun, but not separately, unless the buyer doesn't want it

Previously I had a Leupold 2x7 on top, and one day I wanted to check zero at 200.

First shot went dead center, second landed right next to it, & the 3rd a little low left!

So I ended up selling the 2x7, and put an older Vari-X 3x9 on top.

This was a zero check at 100 yards.......a .170"

Then this past December to lighten the load, I mounted the 6x36 LRD in the pics on top and sighted it in.

After getting a close enough zero at 200, I moved back to 300.

Walking back to the bench & looking through the scope, I managed to set the target right inline with a bunch of thistles To make matters worse, the dot pretty much covered up the blue for my aiming point.

Drop chart show the 1st dot down is on at 310. I held the best I could & banged off three.

Walked down to the target, and moved it back to 400, and returned to the bench.

Mirage had picked up considerably, and now the dot completely covered the blue, and then some.

I had to hold off to the left to see the blue ring, then move the dot right until I figured I was centered somewhere in the middle of the blue & let 'er rip.

The 6x47 is what Geraci used for long range competition......and he's won his share of matches.

Nice rifle.

That sure is a nice rifle at a good price. Love the paint job. If I was in the market for a 6x47 I would jump on this one. I have spent a lot more on custom rigs that do not shoot as well as this one.

This is a perfect build, a proven shooter, cheaper than you can build, and from a great seller. TTT.
