I wish I knew what restaurant chain this is and do my best to make sure the employees find new jobs in the future if it’s a national chain.

Just them saying, if you are making money elsewhere, you will not get as much from us... this happens in many instances in life... medical benefits, government payouts of Social Security (if you get a job while on Social Security after "retirement")

I can't believe that they would even attempt doing such a thing, irregardless of whether they succeed. The negative publicity will hurt them a hell of a lot more, in the long run, than what they MIGHT manage to steal from their employees now.

Should be interesting to see how this stimulus money is handled by nursing homes too since they usually get the bulk of many retired and disabled patient's SS monthly benefit to help pay for care with a small amount going into patients personal spending account.

(sleazy and not right) but there is a major difference... they could not legally make the employees give them the check or the money from the government to the employee... they are reducing the amount of money they are giving the employee from the company... this is how fake news happens... One party twists what happens and then the other party has to argue for the truth... all saying it is the same in the end...
