JMF at $1.25 is a steal. Probably 12% yield and within 3 years 3x appreciation.
Don't tell anyone about this.

Everyone's situation is different as well as their time horizon and risk tolerance. New money has to be calculated with what already you have in the market.

This EPR stock popped 8.2% today.
$15K on a day trade would have yielded $1200.

I invested about half of that and will hold long term, will buy on the lows.

Appreciate your insights OO.

I used to own VTR a while back, but sold it. If I was looking for a healthcare related REIT I would look at MPW

I can say that I believe EPR and RLJ-A to be the best choice right now

It has been on the downward slide since fourth quarter 2014. What makes you think three more years is going to make it triple?

Why? VTR has had much better performance. I'll dig deeper to see if I can find something that supports that. As of now VTR looks like a much better buy.

EPR and RLJ-A are both up 37% since I recommended them in this thread. Both were up about 50% a few days ago, before falling back some with this latest pullback.

I'd look at sectors getting beat up right now. Energy and Oil leap to mind. Airlines and travel too. Good research can find some undervalued gems. Your mileage may vary...good luck.

I've made serious money this last month investing in EPR. My only mistakes were selling a bit premature where I left some meat on the bone.
I intend to long hold this stock once the market stabilizes, in the meantime it's wash, rinse, repeat.

EPR is the mother hen and holder of AMC theatres among other things, resorts, ski resorts etc.,, so there is some volatility in the time of covid, but that hasn't seemed to deter the market.

If I was in your position, I would wait to see if Amazon stock drops below $2,200 or so. If it goes even lower, all the better.

Not bad advice, but meanwhile, if AMZN doesn't drop into that buy price, he and his 15K are missing literally the market of a lifetime.

Except JMF is liquidating the fund in 2 days. So probably not a wise choice to buy into that right now

Chevron. $90 now and think it will go back to $130 in a year plus pays a dividend.

EPR is holding up surprisingly well this morning. Eventually they will have to pay their full dividend by year's end to maintain their REIT status. Mr. Market still has confidence in this stock.
