A friend is interested in buying my 4-year-old Speed Queen Washer/Dryer combo.

What percentage of the cost of new replacement would seem fair to both of us?

Any ideas?

Sold a pretty new Whirlpool a few months ago.

Got $450 for the set.

Had a used appliance dealer call and offer me $75 each for the washer and dryer. Ummm... no thanks.

If it is Speed Queen pre-digital, I would pay more for your used model than an equivalent new set. And so would many others.

If it was a set of Maytag, Kenmore, Samsung, GE, etc, one half to two thirds of new, depending on condition.
