Yep, for just plain shooting fun, I sure use a lot of bulk 22 LR.

My Smith M&P compact really likes the REM golden bullets. It jams with automatch

Seems like a lot of folks learned nothing from the last .22LR drama storm.

Had excellent luck with the Aguila Super Extra high velocity. Seems to run well in everything including my semi autos.

I learned my lesson the first time Bill Clinton won the presidency. 22LR dried up around here. It wasn't even close to the Obama shortage and didn't last long but it happened. Haven't been caught short since.

This ^^^^^^ ... After the last fiasco, I started gifting the grand kids bricks of various stuff as they went on sale for Christmas and birthdays. Our family should not be caught flat footed moving forward...

Price gouging at it's finest, bought a good lick of 22 ammo from Targetsports in December for half that price per round. Are some people just crooks or good business men? I should sell half my stock of ammo and the other half would be free plus some. But then Trump would loose in November and I'd really feel like an idiot for selling ammo at any price.

My current order coming in this week of Federal 38 gr HP's

$148 shipped for 2750 rds....

I seriously doubt if you bought this same type ammo for half as much in December

4-5 cents a rd shipped has been the normal pricing for Agulia & Fed plated 22 plinking ammo

I will be dead before I run out. And I don’t plan on checking out soon, I hope.

5000? That is a 5.56 inventory number. smile

Mtn, targetsports had Hornady 17 grain Vmax at an attractive price as late as last week. Don’t know if they still do?
