I wasted the time to watch this. The agent was a drama queen. And if he had a legitimate beef with a deputy he should have contacted the department and discussed the matter in the proper setting. The agent was probably flexing his muscles and was going to intimidate the deputy but that backfired.

When I reported to naval flight school back in 1980, in Pensacola FL, we were briefed to be on our Ps and Q's and to NOT back talk the local constabulary, cause you would never win an argument with them, and more likely than not, end up with a knot on our head and spending the night in jail. Glad to see they are keeping up the local tradition over Jacksonville way.

My take is the FBI is crooked, has been for a long time, and will probably never regain the trust of any American who hasn't got their head stuck in their azz.
...or there is something about that Office worthy of investigation and he figured to quietly intimidate and turn the Deputy into an informant (prob'ly done it before). Why would the Deputy even meet with him, in the guy's car in the first place?
That didn't work, so now he's aiming to get 'em rattled (which it would, if they're dirty).
Just my guesses.

The FBI Agent was investigating corruption: a fixed ticket to a prominent business woman/supporter of the Sheriff.
Deputy was lying that he didn't recall the ticket: prominent business woman left scene of minor accident, and he originally didn't give her a ticket, probably because of who she was.
Victim complained and LT directed deputy to write the ticket. Then the Sheriff fixed it.
There is no way in He!! he didn't know exactly what the FBI agent was talking about when he showed credentials and asked to talk about it. Of course he didn't go through the chain of command because he was investigating the chain of command.
So the whole premise of not knowing what was going on, etc, is BS. Would be surprised if corruption's not rampant in that department and hate to see what they do to the average nobody.
