After reading that thread about optics and ammo, I would like to list the 3 companies that I have used and continue to use.
Camerland Redhawk Rifles EuroOptic
I know there are more good ones out there. Let's see em

Always impressed with the level of customer service in the sport optics industry; Can't think of another product category that comes close. Over the years; I have had occasion to interface with Swarovski, Pentax, Leupold and Meopta. Only once would I consider the issue a factory defect(Leupold). They all did more than asked with quick turnaround for little or no cost.

Are we talking about retailers or manufacturers?
Retailer: Cameraland hands down. I've only ever talked to Neil, but he's a hoot.
Manufacturers: Leupold and Burris and the only 2 that I've had experience with.

Someone stole a Leupold off my porch a few years ago. I had returned it for a reticle change. Leupold sent me a brand new scope with the reticle I wanted no questions asked.

Retailers, Natchez,Midway. Scope manufacturers, Leupold has always been great. I have shipped them several scopes over the years. They will make repairs or send you a new scope.

Camera Land - I’ve never spoken to Doug on the phone, only Neil. It’s fun to deal with someone who has a personality.
EuroOptic, SWFA and B&H Photo - Never had any dealings with a person but my orders have all been seamless.
Optics Planet - I’d order from them if it were a life or death situation. I’ll pay considerably more money to buy from another dealer if I can avoid Optics Planet.
Don't roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Tract was really great or work with. Sent in my scope. John called me after he got it and said it can be few weeks before I get this one back as it was the holidays. Or upgrade and pay difference or down grade and get a the difference refunded. I’ve had the scope for at least 6 months.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

So far, my experience with Doug and Neil at Cameraland has been outstanding. In fact, they are working with me to exchange a BDC scope to a Z-plex. The BDC is way too thin for my use deer hunting in Georgia for my eye sight.
Many years ago I had to send a Bushnell Elite 3200 back. Bushnell replaced the scope and I received a new one. Excellent service!
Never had any other scope problems from Leupold or Nikon.
