Has anyone tried these? I like the idea of a lock screw that uses a cross bolt to tighten the ring, versus a screw that tightens into the die threads. I have a bunch of Hornady rings that I use for this. Lee offers these for $7 or $8 for three, it might be a stellar deal. Midway is selling them for $7.99 a set.

Have you tried them yet? If so, what is your impression?

they must be some improvement over the crappy original Lee lock rings with the O ring alone. I replaced all my O ring ones with Forster cross bolt lock rings, they look similar in design to the new Lee ones but without the outer notches like gear teeth and no O ring.
They work.

I like the Forster ones myself, the Hornady ones are ok too but harder to find up here. I don't get why these new lee ones still have the o-ring if the ring locks tight with the cross screw though?
