When did they quit putting them in cars? My '08 Dodge pickup has one but my '04 minivan doesn't.

When did they quit putting them in cars? My '08 Dodge pickup has one but my '04 minivan doesn't. They still put the receptacle in the vehicles. It's that hole where you put an adapter for USB charging chords for your cell phone. They just don't provide the male lighter any longer.

I remember taking ten bucks and a note from my grandma to get a carton of Salems for my grandma and Winstons for grandpa at the Holiday station.
And buying a pack from the machine at the bar for my uncle....
I dont think I was even ten.
Ive bought more cigs than Ive ever smoked, thats for sure.

Ive bought more cigs than Ive ever smoked, thats for sure. My brother in law was 14,15- rode dirt bike up the country store. Said he needed pack of marlboros for his daddy. Old woman shot him down, says boy, your pop smokes camels.

My Dad was so proud that his 730 JD had one of those. He didn’t have to fight with a match or lighter while he was in the field.
