If it wasn't for preconceived notions there wouldn't be much humor. I feed off it like a vampire. 👹😂😜 You Iowans are so quaint. You should all see the hot hot hot stuff in both Fairway, and Storm Lake Walmart. The Hispanics like it hot. Fats, they probably never met a "Hispanic" that didn't like spicy food. I hear there's even a couple out there that don't like ............beans! Geno

Each of us here at our house like something different. So we have Franks,Tapito, Crystal, Bull, Louisiana and Tabasco. I thinks that covers it. Nothing super hot but we dont like super hot.

Back to the Corn Song, Mr. Hamilton did not anticipate DeKalb XL45 when he wrote the song. (Probably really showing how long removed I am from dealing with seed corn with that one.)

The ONLY thing I've ever put hot sauce on is a barbequed ham sandwich. I just don't care for it. There is a bottle of Tabasco in the fridge, although it's probably 5 years out of date. What is barbequed ham? Tabasco is fine, but I like a number of other sauces better. Frank's and Texas Pete are my everyday stuff. Barbequed ham is a deli ham sold by Field's meats. It's a ham that's been smoked and has been around for well over 50 years in these parts. For years, my favorite sandwich at the local country stores was barbequed ham, a slice of yellow American cheese, salad dressing, and a little hot sauce.

My favorite wing sauce is made with a roux consisting of a stick of butter and 1/2 cup of general purpose flour, and half a bottle of Frank's wing sauce. It's got almost the exact color and taste of Hooter's sauce. Jerry

Khan/ wife has like 5 types she uses. Puts it on everything. All hot as hell. That Thai tiger sauce stuff was pretty good back in the day. Bout 1/4th of the tiny mre tabasco bottle was about the max I could mix in a MRE. Blended flavored mild hot sauce I could hang with. Kept a bottle of Tiger sauce in my ruck a lot of times and places. I cant eat hot foods like when I was young. Forearms get that tingle feel. Forehead sweat. Burning spinctiod Power schitt,s 3 4 5 times next day. Advoid hot spicey food now at 56 yrs old.

I'm surprised Iowa has even heard of hot sauce. I've literally never had a decent meal in Iowa. I will never go back to Iowa if I have a choice.

Wow! I am shocked. Unless you have a taste a lot different from most folks.

about half the big bag of peppers in last night's Bufalo pic was reduced to Uncle Geno's Dragon Scales "tm" (as my sister calls them). Like the hot pepper flakes at the pizza joint only way mo betta. My supply was low, although I never really run out as I have a little hand grinder I can always toss a couple of peppers in and use it like a pepper grinder. My sister might be completely out, and another friend requested more recently. Now I have to send them on. They sure can spice up a dish. Geno They "spice up" the air in the house too. I did them while my wife took the dogs to town for their annual shots. When she came back an hour and a half later she started coughing. I had a good bout too, but figured it counted as lung exercising so I don't get Corona'd.
