Is anyone using their dried turkey tail fans to good effect while hunting? What are you doing with them? I have several to use, just haven't messed with them yet.
Was in the woods again today, saw a lot of toms. April 15 seems to be getting here very slowly..

I utilized mine for hunting however I bought a reaping fan from "Turkey fan.com" While it's expensive, it's big enough for me to effectively hide behind it, the old bones really appreciate it. Old fans now simply get stapled to the inside of the barn walls.

I keep a real can on the strutter decoy I use for the kids. Don't really know if a turkey is smart enough for it to make a difference. Could probably spray paint a cardboard fan black and have the same results. But it looks cooler standing there.
