Media sells advertising, not news. They report the news so as to appeal to the largest possible audience. The news is written and reported to maximize ad revenue and to not offend advertisers.

Nobody is cashing in more through this than the media. I bet this fizzles out in 2-3 weeks...the death toll will be under 80k TOPS. By June the economy will be up and running, albeit with a lot less businesses and a slew of unemployed People. .02.

One month ago there were about 9 American deaths due to Covid-19. One week ago there were about 1,000 American deaths due to Covid-19 As of April 3rd (today) there are over 6,100 American dealths due to Covid-19. Want to guess what this math shows in another month? In three more months? In 2020? It's going to be many months and might be as long as 18-24+ months before the world can even begin to resume a 'new' normal. We have no vaccine. Experts say that Vaccine development will take another 18+months. Spoken like a true Canadian pussy, er, lefty, er communist. 😜

This is good for a chuckle. A newly released and supposedly scientific study reveals no bias in media reporting. I haven't read the study, but if I am reading this article right, the study was based on surveys of journalists themselves ("Biased? Who, me?") and something or another on Twitter.
