My G/F called me and said she bought a shotgun at a yardsale. She didnt know what it was but it was a shotgun and 80 dollars so it was good enuff for her.
I havnt seen it but if my memory is correct she said the side of the gun said it was a Magtech model 199 has anybody herd of one of these. What are the opinions of it.

Nope, Never heard of a girlfriend that buys shotguns at yardsales, but I'd assign a pretty high value and add 50% if she can bait her own hook Weagle

she told me she has no interest in shooting it because she has her "other" shotgun and it holds more ammo (870 youth 20ga). But it was 80 bucks and she now has more shotguns than I do. So it was worth it in her eyes.

The magtech 199 is a Brazilian made single shot shotgun with an underlever release. They are supposed to be of decent quality. The lever under the trigger guard pushes down like a Ruger #1. The gun then breaks open like all the traditional single shots. Weagle

So she recognizes a good deal and is on her way to gun-loonyism, if she can back a boat trailer on her own too, she's a keeper.

Oh she is way past being on the way to gun-loonyism. Me and her went up to my uncles gunstore and I had to get something outta the truck. By the time I got back she had about 5 grand worth of guns picked out that were just what she needed.
Add that to her 8 horses and you get a Broke Boyfriend.

Hell no she cant cook!!!!!!! The microwave is her way of cooking. She made BROWNIES in the microwave. But those werent as bad as the scrambled eggs she made me once. She put the eggs shell and all in the microwave Then when they blew up she picked out the shells an tossed them. Then she scrapped the "scrambled eggs" off the walls of the microwave put them on a plate an gave them to me. She thought she was a genious for figuring out how to make "scrambled (radiation) eggs" in the microwave. The worst part was that she sat there by me. So I had no choice but to eat them.
