I do too, but it's hard to believe Chuck said IG's help drain the swamp, when hardly any swamp creature has been ID'd and sent packing. No one has done a thing to get this deep state government in line. If they just sent out a list and posted a bounty it would be taken care of overnight, but we're not a 3rd world country but we will be very soon.

Given what was posted, I would not characterize Grassley's position as "panties in a wad" - by rule a reasonable explanation is expected and he has asked for that. He did not critique the decision or question DT's authority/judgment. Grassley may be asking for this because he thinks it could help DT politically to so respond. Who knows?

After observing Grassley over time, he does seem to move like a weather vane depending on which way the wind in blowing.

I'm thinking I will give a call to some of Grassleys state offices Monday and ask them to tell him Trump fired Atkinson because he is a disgrace and that Grassley is becoming one.
