My son who is an attorney tells me this usually ends in sad stories about older men bringing some very good looking younger foreigner over here and as soon as she becomes legally American she is looking for divorce lawyer and a settlement. A lot of them are Filipino. I know of one like you described. She left him with twin baby girls of mixed racial origin. She had a baby daddy on the side. Not mail order but 4 of the guys that I worked with in China married Chinese women and are doing well . Another that I worked with in Brazil left his Wyoming wife and married a Brazilian woman. Don’t know how that worked out. I had a brazillion once...spent it all on big boats and fast cars.

Spent 30 years in the refinery and knew several guys that tried it.Only one made it work that I know of.Thats still a better record than the guys that tried it with strippers

One of my coworkers brought a woman over from China. He lost a bunch of weight, learned Mandarin, and she packs his lunch every day. He seems happy. She's fairly close in age to him.

I married a French gal that grew up here (dual citizenship).
Only slightly more Fd up than a home grown version.
Aunt tried to send me to Greece to find a wife right after HS.
Those women get MEAN when they get older. Mean and hairy . Dated a few Greek gals in their 40's. Fun for a bit. I worked in Russia and Ukraine in the 90's. Called out at the embassy occasionally to help assist the K Visa interviews and process. Typical scenario: Blue collar Guy in his late 40's or 50's. meets a Hawt Russian gal in her 20's or 30's on the internet. He has never been abroad in his life and could find Russia or Ukraine on a world map. He doesn't know a word of Russian she doesn't even know how to say "Hi" in English. He travels to Russia or Ukraine to meet his prospective bride. . Shows up at embassy at Kiev, Moscow or St Petes with his gal. . I ask the guy during interview does he know what the heck he's getting into and almost all were clueless. I speak to the gals in Russian and Ukraine and ask why are they doing this and of course all said they love him and smiled. I told them they're full of BS and want the visa to the US. and warn the guys but they don't listen. Dated a bunch of gals when I worked there so pretty much understood the mentality. There a few, very few, good gals with character but the vast majority were typical Russian scammers.

One of my friends named Bob met a Polish farmer’s daughter on FarmersOnly.com. Her father ran a big government farm in Poland under socialism. Bob’s from Woburn, MA and had never stepped foot on a farm in his life. They’ve been married for 10 years now and couldn’t be happier.

Some guys are total idiots about it.
Slavyanka’s sister met an American when she was working in Turkey in the late 90’s. They spent some time together but she moved on. He was smitten.
He can’t speak her language and she hardly speaks any English. He still sends her money. She’s been with a guy 10 years and hasn’t told him. They even got married 2 years ago.
He’s still single and waiting for the day she finally realizes she loves him. Dumbass.

Have a friend that went to china. Met a gal there on the street. they went for tea. Hung out for a week. They had a internet romance for a year. He was trying to get her to the US. She needed money for a pass port and flight. He sent it to her. OOPs never heard from her again. Knew a guy from Russia that he and his wife came to America. After the wife got amercanized she divorced him. Might work for some.

This stuff is legit, but one must be careful. I’ve known a few success stories.
Stay away from Filipinas. Totally two faced scammers one way or another. Not trustworthy.
