This afternoon my dog was barking, nothing unusual there. Then I heard her yelp so I look out my kitchen window and saw a person putting a real estate sign on the corner, we live at the intersection of two roads. The guy who was putting the sign up threw a rock and hit my dog with it. My dog is behind a four foot high chain link fence. The rock throwing SOB was pounding a sign into the ground just out side of the fence.I saw him pick up a second rock just as I rounded the corner of my house. I yelled at the mindless bast#rd and he started to give me some lip until he saw that I was not a happy camper and was about to drag his old scrawnie azz THROUGH the chain link fence. If I had had a rock avaliable he would have been with out a windshield in his LandRover. Needless to say the sign was removed and destroyed. The SOB was on county rite of way which does not allow signs to be posted but no one enforces it. He best not come around here posting his signs again, they will be removed no matter where I see them around my property.

That's cruelty to animals. I would have had the bistard on the ground at gun point until the SPCA straightened it all out

This happened around 2PM and now it is 10:30PM and I still would not have a cop out here so I would have to have fed the SOB. He won't be back any time soon.

tell him to make sure he uses skinny stakes for his signs Boily.........
that way it'll hurt less when you shove the next one up his azz providing there is a next time.
should have turned the dog loose on him, how can anyone live to the age of majority and not realize from a chihauha to a Great Dane, dogs do what they are hard wired to do, bark when someone is on or close to their property, whether they be in their masters car or behind a fence. What an azz for chucking a rock at a dog fenced in his own yard.

He probably figured no one was home in the afternoon. I bet he wouldn't have done it if he knew you were home.

I believe I would be finding out who his employer is... If he is a realtor or just sticking signs up for a realtor the realtor needs to know about it. A formal complaint to the Sheriff is a must-do, IMO...

If a FSBO, a taped dog barking call for a few nights in a row... oh say about 3AM... might keep it all freesh for him!

I see anyone throwing rocks at my dogs won't be needing the cops. He'll need an ambulance and a transfusion...

I have given this some thought and my evil twin has come up with a plan. i Know who this guy is i have his phone numbers, My evil twins plan for my self satisfaction is to put several adds on Craigs list advertising a classic desirable car like a 64 Mustang convertable for say $1800 dollars, make the car out to be a barn find and the seller a dummy. The kicker will be to call after mid night as he works hours that is the only time that he can be gotten a hold of. Follow up same sort of add on CL for a gay lover. Should not have hit my dog with a rock.

A formal complaint to the Sheriff is a must-do, IMO... +1 Document it with local law enforcement. Tell the realter. Keep a camera handy. If he does it again, take his picture and walk back into the house without saying a word. THAT really freaks people out, especially juveniles. And you have evidence to accompany the complaint that you file.

Or sign him up on some of those Pornography Web Sight's on the Internet using his Name and Realty E-Mail Address and let him explain to his boss why he is receiving their mailings.
