Brook trout
Small mouth bass
Pickerel/ pike
Ice fishing
We considered yellow perch trash fish ice fishing.

Down here in Tn
Big blues on the back of sand bars in the cumberland in dec jan feb
When they slow down and wait for easy meals
Bump a treble with med tuffie minnows down the current.
Biggest one I ever got was 39 pds
They go up to 100+
Lived in base housing at the time
Give em to SFC Montcalm next door neighbors
I dont care for catfish 1 bit.
Caught a slew of em.
Something to do after deer season and before turkey.

Spruce and fir mostly
Some white pine depending on what the mills were running.
