You'd have to drink 6 liters of tonic water just to get to the lowest therapeutic dose of quinine. 13 on the high end. Seems excessive, but whatever floats your boat.

Back to the article, I'd be i interested to hear a pulmonologist/MD's opinion on this. Specifically whether all of the symptoms described (like bilateral pneumonia) could also be explained by the "cytokine storm."

Plaquenil suppress immune response, why its used in arthritis and lupus, one of its "modes of action" in Corona
ARB (ACE2 blockers) do not suppress immune response. Plaquenil has ARB (like all of them it is dose dependent)
Formal Studies have started in mid March concerning use of ARBs
as article points out, something can inactive a pathway common to both organisms. ARB don't share this pathway.
sometimes an answer of NO has more information in it , than an answer of yes.
Also take more antioxidants
Elderberry
Resveratrol
and the one just now being look at Melatonin 5 mg.
Melatonin is an immune system regulator, sleep stuff is side effect.
get an oximeter and monitor yourself.

In addition to your point, you may find it interesting that both Plaquenil types and Metformin are both kinases. One of metformins "modes of actions" in insulin resistance.

A little probably helps a little and a lot helps more. If I read the article right, the quinine binds to blood cells. Less is going to affect fewer cells, maybe not enough to save you if you have a big reaction.
