There are so many unanswered questions that I just don't know. I'm not even sure that we will get a check. We aren't suffering loss of income from this. We don't think we deserve it and we don't want it. But we get a W-2 from my retirement so I think we will get a check. Who knows? The Wife and I have discussed this. We are in the home stretch on our home mortgage. About the middle of the Summer it will be paid off. I think we are going to put it on the mortgage. If we end up paying taxes on it next year we have that money stashed away.
I hope your guys will do something meaningful with yours. But around here I expect that we will see a lot of "new" used cars. Mostly Escalades and Navigators and a bunch of new gangster wheels. What bullshit!!! I hope the people that really need it will take it and make good use of it. But that ain't gonna happen!!!

Whatever you guys decide to buy, try and make it made in America or better yet buy local, help out the small business The LGS I frequent is closed because our dumb azz governor shut them and all the other gun stores down. I hope the people that really need it will take it and make good use of it. Africans got 350 million, Kennedy center got 25 million for renovations. planned parenthood was fully funded; all really good uses of taxpayer money.

This virus has opened my eyes to some things I can help myself ( I am already doing many of these), or use the check to help people in my extended family
Have a place in the home to store food and safety supplies with
1). Three life straws (water purification)
2.) buy one month canned food supply
3.) books to read, and board games
4.) two guns and ammo
5.) 500 hundred in cash
6.) Bike or tennis shoes for exercising and keeping body in shape
7.) Not money related but ( stop all tobacco products and maintain same weight as in high school)
8.) Learn a new skill each week
9.) up to date computer and radio backup
10.) have one day per week where family uses no technology to get used to these times
11.) Cook 90% of meals from home.
This is our first crisis, pandemic (whatever you want to call it) we need to be as prepared as possible for the next one. These things you say we should have I already have , no words on a paper will hold the iron of your word it must come from the man. If you tear it up, they won't be wanting it back? First we see if I actually get one, but that is the general plan, yeah. Maybe better save the torn up scraps of paper and give those back. It might take an IRS audit to prove you did not "receive" the money, but if you didn't cash or deposit the check, you haven't taken the money, it's not income, so ... call it civil disobedience.
