During my brothers cancer and chemo he had mouth and throat sores. He only at Mom's bannana pudding. He gained weight!
Following my transplant I had lost 40 pounds of muscle, down to 163. Could see my ribs. Docs had me drinking a "Boost" drink twice a day. Smooth choclate drink packed with protein and calories. I still have them for breakfast once in a while.

Let her enjoy family. A friends daughter did this and it is a slow painful journey.

I'll just second all the blessings and kudos that have already been said.. its a tough thing to deal with...
Prayers for her to be comfortable thru this all.. and prayers that she can recover...

I saw a triwall of watermelons at Sams club last week. This was in Michigan, so maybe you have them up there too. Michigan??? I thought you were on the east coast. I bought a farm in Michigan and am making the move from the coast. Congrats!

Talked to Dad a little while ago and he said the visit and the hotdish made Mom feel a lot better.
