The light spots on the bottom rifle butt are in the grain. It changes with the lighting... Uncataloged porn star edition.

What dates are we talking about with the 5 and 6 digit numbers?

Well, Maybe somebody knows how to date these babies.
93 is stamped in the 5 digit floor plate and 97 in the 6 digit.

That list only goes to 1992 for M70's and doesn't cover the Classic Stainless. The date stamp on the Bottom Metal is not a good guide, but it gets close. Best is to call BACO, they'll give the month and year of mfg.

Is that a 24" barrel on the bottom rifle? All non-magnum SS Fwt's/All Terrain are 22" SA and LA, 22-250 through 30-06. The magnum "Featherweights"/All Terrain have 24" bbls. IIRC, the Magnum Fwt/All Terrain were only in 7Rem and 300Win mags.

If I was in the market for one of these, I'd prolly not be sweating serial numbers. Gorgeous rifles and a good guy bump.

Bump.
Nice rifles! Is the five digit a compact? It looks about an inch shorter on both ends.
