It has entered my circle of 'friends' just two days ago...............

One of our Church leaders tested positive, he's now on 15 days of house quarantine........ Church services were suspended about a month ago, I have had no direct contact with him since that time............

I got a call from the CP 5 days ago. I was in " close contact " with a co-worker that had tested positive, 10 days earlier. ( yeah, I know, they are on the ball right? ....apparently not enough test kits..) I was taken off my trip and sent home for the remaining 4 days. Back at work today, I'm essential/expendable wink

None of the guys I know at work have it, and I'm in more cities/states in two weeks than most people get to in a lifetime. I'm being careful, always have been actually, people disgust me.... Years ahead , when we look back at the Great Overreaction, I will be able to say , I was quarantined, that's the extent of it now.

Friend (early 60's), wife (50's) and 3 kids had it, none needed hospitalization.

Another friend's daughter lives in Colorado and had it. Though fit and in her 30's, it took 3 weeks to get over it. He said she had all the issues one hears about.

Not campfire folks, but trusted anecdotal info.

Sure sounded like Burleyboy may have had it, but they wouldn't give him a test.

Dammit, man.

At least one death in my company. Another receiving an experimental treatment. I suspect there's more, but that's all they are telling us about.

A couple of cases in the extended family on my wife's side, but she has a lot of family.

None of us we know has had it as far as we know. My wife got sick for a few days in January when she was in Virginia. She also got sick about a month ago before all the hype started and didn't know what it was or if it was C19. It wasn't that bad however. She doestn know anyone who has had it neither. In Wisconsin this year, we have had car accidents : 92 deaths, C19 117 deaths, flu , 146 deaths, and viral pneumonia so far has taken 1130 deaths in Wisconsin . We have about 2 per day of opioid deaths per day in Wisconsin so, about 200 opioid deaths . C19 is a concern, yes, but there are much bigger dangers out there.

I can't say for sure, but my son (13) showed symptoms a month ago. High fever, dry cough. Fortunately, that was his spring break and he spent a week sleeping 16-20 hours a day. Pediatrician told us that they couldn't test him as they only had a few test kits for the entire practice. He is better now, but still has a loose, rattly cough (as if his lungs are still clearing out).
I am concerned because my daughter (16) is now showing the same symptoms that my son had last month, but even more more acute. "It hurts to breathe." If she gets any worse, we are taking her to urgent care.

A lot more than you know have it. I know several, which means I know 100. It's a virus, that's how it works.

My hunting buddy's wife got it. She tried to recover at home but after 6-7 days of high fever she became delirious. An ambulance picked her up around midnight and found her oxygen level to be about 60%.
She got to the hospital and was diagnosed with CV-19 and double pneumonia.

They tried a few days on oxygen but had poor results and a ventilator became necessary. She continued to decline for another 7 days until she died. Visitors were never permitted. They did a Facetime communication from her bedside while she was in an induced coma so the family could say "good bye". Her kids were devastated. What a horrible way to go.

If all that wasn't bad enough, there are so many dead bodies piling up here that her current whereabouts are unknown. They are waiting for officials to tell them where her body will be temporarily buried until the CV dies down and the funeral parlors and cemeteries can catch up.

Nor do I, but there are so many un diagnosed cases, who knows for sure.
I live in Colorado Springs, and it is a hot spot for it.
