This is only the prelude to Balkanization that many here have said will be the salvation of our society.

For those who’ve proffered such,,,,,,enjoy.

At first I thought this was probably a dry run for something bigger. It still may be, but it's no dry run. It stands on it's own as the biggest power grab in the hostory of this country.

Reading just this morning about how Utah is electronically monitoring your entry into their state, I'm thinking back to when Obama came up wth the cash for clunkers program that helped get many people into newer cars. Trackable cars.

And curiously, he gave away phones too. Both are handy tracking devices.

This is not a new thing. They have been planning for this for probably decades.

same "mapping" technique currently being pushed by Apple-Google.

At least Herberts method will get the information to "official" health organizations instead of being manipulated by Google.

Herbert knows the roads stuff is not doable -- their targeting SLC international airport.

States have been electronically monitoring entries and exits since the early 1990s.

As you say, it’s not new.

The "mapping' techniques are already in use , have been for 20 years. My "day trading program" uses one for "traffic" on specific commodities.

only makes sense they would use one for disease stuff,

People with no cell phones and old cars must be a real thorn in their side.

They're not the ones causing the problems.

I had always considered Utah as a state with folks with both feet on the ground and their heads screwed on straight. I'm beginning to wonder...Google's little helper, Mike Lee, Mittens Romney, and the most draconian governor's edict to date. Honestly??? Electronically screen travel on Interstate 80? What state employee decides which trucks proceed, which cargos are held or turned around? Utah's governor should have shut down motor boating too, which is clearly a serious disease vector.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

the question on the sheet doesnt ask those questions. Its a mapping program not a port entry docking manifesto.

SALT LAKE CITY (April 9, 2020) – Gov. Herbert has issued an Executive Order establishing a requirement for individuals entering Utah to complete a travel declaration form. The Utah Department of Transportation will collect this information in an electronic form individuals will receive via text message upon entering the state.

The order requires every individual 18 years of age or older who enters Utah, either as a final destination through the Salt Lake City International Airport, or on Utah roads, to complete a travel declaration form before entering the state.

“I am impressed with the extraordinary things that Utahns are doing each day to help one another stay safe and stay home. In recent days, however, we have seen an uptick in travel on our roads,” said Gov. Herbert.“We need to limit our travel to essential purposes only. Our goal is to trace potential cases of COVID-19 in inbound travelers.”

This will be implemented by using a wireless emergency alert system near our borders in order to notify those entering by car and truck of the need to complete a declaration online.

The Utah Department of Transportation has coordinated with other state agencies and political subdivisions as necessary to identify highway entry points and ensure that each highway entry point is identified on a map made available to the public on coronavirus.utah.gov.

The Utah Department of Technology Services will provide the encryption of all data collected and transmitted pursuant to this order. It will also ensure the system involving the collection, transmission, and storage of data collected pursuant to this order meets national privacy and security standards.

No personally identifiable information or personal health information gathered as a result of this survey will be shared with the public or with any unauthorized individual.

This order will go into effect at 8:00 a.m. on April 10, 2020 and shall remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on May 1, 2020.

View the order here.

Snowden explained all this

I get notices from my phone that I need to turn alerts on.

I never get amber alerts or any of that crap.

I also never use the GPS in the phone.

Will they disable my vehicle with an EMP burst when I cross the Utah line?
