Just a heads up: Midway is having a 30% off sale on Trijicon.

I don't see much discussion about Trijicon here on the 'fire, not sure why. I've never owned one, but they seem to be decent, well built scopes. I took a look at them at the DSC Convention a couple of years ago.

I like several of their products like aimpoint and acogs. Used an accupoint on a black bear hunt and performed great in dim light.

The Trijicon 1-8x28 looks like it could be a great scope.

I believe they are US made. I could not be happier with the one and only example I own.

I have a couple of the 3-9 accupoints which I think are pretty nice scopes. 13.2 ounces, so relatively light weight for an illuminated scope. Both of mine say made in Japan - although I swear at one time mule deer wrote that some of the glass was being supplied by meopta.

May not be a lot of talk about them, because usually folks only talk about problems they have.

My sample of one, 2-10x56 accupoint was a great low light scope.

I have a 3.5 ACOG. It is useful and quick, but I personally prefer a scope with variable magnification. I have it on a AR15 - pistol, so it does fit that platform well.
I think it was well over 1000 bucks when I bought it, maybe close to 1200 I guess. Not my best scope investment.

Would love to hear confirmation from John or Ilya, but there was a poster over on opticstalk who was posting about it a couple years ago. Went by BucsRus and posted this in June of 2018
“ Not new to forum. Couldn't retrieve password. Trijicon has used Meopta glass in their Accupoints now for about 2yr.This from Trijicon. You can call them with your serial # and they will tell you if your model has Czech glass or Japanese. I ordered one of the Czech glass Accupoints and I am very impressed !”

After I read that I did call them, but the lady I spoke to said that she couldn’t tell me - one way or another. Most of the things I have read suggest a relationship with LOW ...

When I built my EOTWAWKI gun, I went Trijicon MRO. Own numerous RMR's which I put on rifles, pistols and hand cannons. They're like a Timex....

Well, Trijicon seems to have a lot of interesting offerings. I'd be interested to know how their hunting scopes compare to the SHV or The MeoPro.

GSSP: Your eyesight must not be as sharp as it once was. I'm in the same boat, but I can still use irons. How do u like that RMR on the Ed Brown?

I have 2 of the 1-4 Accupower scopes with the red segmented circle BDC reticle. The illuminated reticle is not daylight bright, oh you can tell it's on but it's not like a red dot. However the reticle is bold enough that I never bother turning the illumination on. I like these 2 and might wind up with a 3rd one day. The glass in mine are very clear, comparable with my VX6 Leupold. I've not had one fail to hold zero.

HN looks like it may be assemnled in the US, glass form Czech. Mine is an AccuPoint 4-16x50 MOA-Dot and it is very comparable to My Swaro Z3 and A Line scopes. YMMV.

Good to know. I may try one in the future, but I think it would be hard to justify a Trijicon over a NF SHV for the same money.

I am going to give the Trijicon Credo HX 1-6x24 FFP a try. It is in transit. But, will be about 3 weeks before I have my hands on it. It will most likely go on a 375 or 416, if the reticle is suitable to me.

A friend of mine just purchased an ACOG 4x32 red horseshoe/dot 6.8 ballistic reticle for his Wilson 16" AR. He said the glass was German.
