Why I use Blendsall in my 2-strokes, it smells good when you're running stuff!!

That's one reason you should always use animal or plant based lube in a black powder gun. It burns cleaner and leaves a softer fouling and much less residue. This allow the shooter more shots between cleanings. Petroleum based lubes and waxes turn into a black hard fouling when burned along with black powder and is hard to get out of a barrel.. This doesn't really surprise me that much.

Probably better than engine oil as bacon grease in most applications.

And there are the guys that make diesel from old fryer oil. Perfect combo - drive around town trailing the aroma of bacon and fried chicken and french fries. Weight Watcher's would love you!

Pig lard was one of the ingredients in the AMOCO LDO engine oil. It really is a very good lubricant.
