It burns cleaner and leaves a softer fouling and much less residue. This allow the shooter more shots between cleanings. Petroleum based lubes and waxes turn into a black hard fouling when burned along with black powder and is hard to get out of a barrel.. This doesn't really surprise me that much. Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
