I should've posted a hypothesis, which basically is that older posters are saying serious and younger ones are saying not. Using the word "hoax" was probably a mistake. Etc. Bottom-lining it: You gotta choose one or the other and post an accurate age for this to work. Thus far my hypothesis is being proven wrong. My sense of it is that some of the ones saying "serious" actually fall on what I called the "hoax" side. Posting an opinion without an age is also worthless to the exercise.

I think people are basing their opinions on the death toll and that really isn't the issue, the issue is the hospitalizations. With 10 people in the hospital for every death, this could overwhelm our hospital system if we did't clamp down.

Some people are jacked off about the overinflated death toll. The other option is to do over 10,000 autopsies for what? If someone wants to hammer Trump about the COVID deaths at least he can claim he cured cancer
