You guys are all semi retarded. Old grandad bonded...the 100 prof. The 80 is no good and the 120 barrel proof is no good. The bonded 100 proof? Best bourbon money can buy and it’s like 22 a 5th

Seriously...I’d take it over anything

Naturally I can’t get it up here and have to buy it by the case at my brothers place in the show me state...such is life

Anyone here buys it and doesn’t like it...I’ll pay shipping north!

Elijah Craig and Eagle Rare are what I have been drinking lately.

The Eagle Rare is hard to get so save it for special occasions, but the EJ is readily available.

Young Bobby. Is the Old Forester prohibition at 115 too hot? I kinda like it. I believe it came in a smartly priced combo with the bottled in bond from Costco. Somehow the later has evaporated or something .

Also was the Weller a bourbon or a whiskey?

Asking for a friend. grin

I’m on whiskey and coke mix.
Pendleton or Gibson’s

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I am fine with Jim Beam and will sometimes buy their Black. That said, I am pouring Old Fashioneds.

Hey Poobs the next time you're in Tx. You gotta try this. IMHO mucho better than the Becky. The wife and I were day drinking after the Alamo on Independence Day before the hog hunt and were in an old Tx. hotel [chime in if you know it] doing the usual with a Titos Bloody Mary and did the lone star and a local IPA.

Got serious and asked for more local libations and this is what the bartender offered.

Can't say it's the best but I like it better than Becky.
