We had venison meatloaf, steamed asparagus and baked sweet potatoes.

Simple, buy can of favourite biscuit dough, spray muffin tin with olive oil spray, press rounds of dough into muffin tray, forming up sides, fill with whatever you choose, add fresh chili & grated cheese. Into oven @375*f for 12-14 minutes.

Done.

Potato/Leek Soup

2 leeks halved length-wise and cut into 1/4" pieces
a clove of garlic
a bit of oil in the bottom of a pot - heated - add the above for 5 minutes or so
a stalk of celery (or two) cut into 1/8" slices added to the pot
cover for a few minutes
32 oz. of chicken broth dumped in, along with 5 or 6 potatoes diced 1/4" cubes, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper
bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer until potatoes are done
add in about 1/2 cup of left-over mashed potatoes and 3/4 ring of Pella ring bologna cut into small pieces (save the rest for eggs tomorrow morning)
continue heating
before serving add 3/4 cup half and half and some chives
give some time to heat back up (don't boil)

Great stuff, we don't dare make too big of a batch because once we get our beaks stuck into it, we find it difficult to stop.
