I mention it from a local economy standpoint.

I'm probably the best cook I've ever met.

Easy guy....take your finger off the trigger!

Our restaurants were on the brink of bankruptcy before the shut down. They weren't worth a schit anyway.

Now Nalivka's on the other hand........perfect business model it seems.

We spent 70 bucks there a week or so ago.........

I did go a while ago. I think thats why I didnt go before. Thought it was a weakness to need a pill every day.

Got on a BP pill and a Thyroid pill.

BP this morning after two cups of coffee.....ooops.....was 135 over 85.

Making progress......

SPEAKING of progress......I found something that I needed that is basically shut down.

The Ford parts warehouse in Denver is weeks at the best and MONTHS at worst behind. Apparently they have 11 people on the floor to pull 40,000 parts a day.

Aint no CANS planting around here.
Seen about 25 middle to late aged white people planting a huge feild of strawberries yesterday.

Plowing crews on fields aint got no CANS working for em either.

Really strange for around here.
No CANS working agriculture right now.

Might speak volumes about Illegal aliens, C19, border stuff, and those who employ em.

Aint seen no tobacco planting yet , still too early for that I think.

I could probably go out and get something under the table for some extra spending cash hand planting whatever.
Fugg that.....
Homey aint sucking financially and if homie gonna walk a field it's gonna be for arrowheads.

4) doctor offices are open for emergency only
5) banks are open, but only drive through or appointments only

Many small businesses are actually open, but significant drop in customers due to social distancing, people self-isolating and layoffs

I've been up to Sheridan and things like Walmart, Home Depot and general traffic seem about normal, until you want food.

Outdoor stores are doing "ok" business according to 2 mangers I've spoken to, with the exception of guns, especially on line, those are high

Liquor stores are actually having record months.

Where you are, are things actually shutdown hard?

Basically exactly the same in Northern Colorado.

I give my liquor business to the local hole in the wall store right down the street, as the owner lives in my neighborhood and they are just good folks. 2 weeks ago he told me he did almost $12k on a Monday. Normal would have been under $2,500. That $12k was the highest day he has EVER had. More than any new years, super bowl....

There was an oil glut before the covid, and with oil bouncing off of $20/barrel, that will not change soon. That is due to OPEC rather than Covid.

Actually, the price of oil is the only bright spot in America's future. Cheap oil always yields a fast and strong economy. Unless you happen to be in the tiny minority dependent upon the oil patch for employment.

I am hoping to see $.99/gal gas again. We finally hit $2.05 this week.
