So I have a buddy of mine that needs a early 70s forend for a Remington 742 woods master carbine. If anybody knows where I can find one or has a lead on one, please pm. Thanks a lot

Friends don't let friends shoot 742s, just sayin'. Those guns self destruct after about 200 rounds fired. I bet there's galling in the receiver and no gunsmith will touch it with a 10ft pole. Ask me how I know...

may want to checkout what Dinny is sayin unless you want it above the fire place, when they all go off in the mag it can get nasty. its for real. not wanting to discorage you but they a danger.
