For a 223, I'd opt for the MSR personally and take advantage of the ballistic plex reticle that is more calibrated towards the 223 rem cartridge. This would help in just pointing and shooting where you may not have as much time to dial on a leery yote.... Generally when I'm shooting yotes and calling them in, they come in close.

I personally wouldn't use a fixed 10x on a predator rifle...

I'm running a 3-9X Burris Timberline Ball. Plex reticle on a 9T 223 AI AR, and love it. Have taken a number of coyotes right around the 500-yd. range with it over the years.
