Any recommendation on a gunsmith that is also a good stock guy and knows his way around a 99.

Goskowski over in Mount Savage, Maryland, meets your criteria. He has a website. Good work, fair price. I've had them work on my pre-mill EG .308. Love how it came out.

Found Mt Pleasant Gunsmith, is that him? Sorry, area code 843, SC. I found it, I was looking in Mt Pleasant instead of Mt Savage. The name is Gostomski's Gunsmith Service, 301 264 3773.

He used to show up at all the small gun shows in Maryland way back in the day. Always had a big pile of Savages and was a very personable chap, but his prices were high and I never bought anything from him. I hadn't seen him for so long I thought he had died or retired.
