Last night Tuna salad sandwiches melts, tater chips and PBR.

Beef burgers off a gas grill, creamed potatoes, and peas.

Gonna starve if you don't eat any more than that.

Bean soup in the Instant Pot, made with the leftovers of a pork shoulder I smoked and froze a couple weeks ago.

For dessert, homemade Tvorog (Farmer’s Cheese) with honey, made from 2 gal of fresh whole milk we picked up from a dairy farmer who’s having to dump a lot of production.

Simple supper tonight. Chuckeyes, asparagus in brown butter, baked tater. That'll do.

Last night was grilled pronghorn t-loin ( cooked just till it stopped screamin for it's momma ) with onions and shrooms, broccoli and cheese and bakers with sour cream and chives. Also, a couple of my favorite Augustiner Braus.

All of it looks fantastic.

Elk medallions ( cut from the semitendinosis in the "round steak" ) marinated for a couple hours in home made sour cherry wine and Greek seasoning with onions and a bit of garlic, grilled on the BBQ. Potatoes made by boiling chunks, and adding a sauce made with sautéed onions, thick cream, butter, seasonings, and stirred until thick and creamy goodness, along with fresh carrots and peas with basil and butter sauce. And a nice Shiraz on the side.

I'll be danged if I can remember. Took it out of fridge on friday, unwrapped it, seasoned it, let it sit for awhile, back in fridge and in the meantime took the styrofoam tray and wrapper out to the dumpster. Was going to cook it that night, then remembered it was our "stimulus program" night to go to one of the restaurants for takeout.

By the time i cooked it Saturday, I had forgotten what kind it was.

Turned out tasty, whatever cut it was. Coated it fairly good with some garlic powder, onion powder, and Ras al Hanout (a Moroccan blend of spices the wife and I love), roasted for a couple of hours until about 140F, and called it good.
