Nice job! That is one of my all time favorites!! The Cadillac of the S&W's in my opinion! One question is that yours or a job done for a customer? I couldn't tell if you were making a joke about completing the job.

Seeing that M/27 with the previous owner's DL # "engraved" on it brings to mind a Skeeter Skelton story entitled "Bustamonte I hate you" wherein Skeeter relates the story of having tracked down a pretty nice Colt SA south of the border. Nice Skeeter thought till he turned the piece over, the mexican who originally owned the old Colt had "engraved" his name with what for all appearances must have been a railroad spike.
