Great time with good folks once again
Ltppowell took the largest hog with a 270 lb brute of a boar! I had the pleasure of hunting with him when he took it. Pat said "big boar coming",I said "you shoot it" and he said "are you sure?"
I said "yup I shot one while sitting with you yesterday"...Pat is a hog hunting machine and would have gladly let me shoot but honestly I got more enjoyment watching him take it.
My boar was 2nd largest at 173lbs his was a true giant almost 100lbs bigger than mine.
Much bourbon was drank and many cigars smoked,DocRocket and Ltppowell entertained us around the campfire with their guitars.
In all we killed 40 hogs I took an Addax with my 7mm08 and a Gemsbok with my 10mm Nighthawk.
Killertraylor and JLimbo each killed big Scimitar Oryx
Rifle completion had DocRocket winning and Paladin won the Bowling Pin Shoot with Crimsontide finishing 2nd and yours truly 3rd
More fun than any man has a right too!

Thanks for the photos, Dan.

Now for the really big prize-----Who won the "Dink" contest?

Was the big boar shot with "A Big Bore"

Did the Pooh-Bah fall down again?

Who won the trap shooting?

I'm still on the list correct?

Dan

Great job making that all come together. I enjoy seeing/reading!!!

NICE shot with the 10mm. Told you they are killers! I carried a 45 this past weekend but ended up having a 9mm put in my hand when one walked out as I was driving. It worked well twice... LOL.

Pats is a BIG pig. Yours aint' small but not uncommon. Pats pigs are out there but rarely seen. Biggest I've seen in the wild down south was around 500 honest pounds, and it got an arrow in the lungs but we never could find it, the shoats kept pushing her deeper and I've seen that before, if they have piglets they have adrenalin...

Carolyn shot one over 260 with her bow once, bottomed the 260 pound scale. RARE to see much less kill those.

Thanks for all the work you do behind the scenes for all the good guys!

It looks like the 2020 hog hunt was more Big Fun.

It's sad to hear that, "most of the people who are here have written the 'fire off."

I miss it.

I really enjoyed getting together with you guys .

Always a good time. Thanks for the pictures. Please post some more pictures if anybody has any. We'd like to see them. Unfortunately, I had to give up my spot in 2019 because life got in the way. frown

I'd like to see the TN 24 Hour Campfire hog hunt revived.
