Several years ago, when I was looking for a model 14 in .250 Sav I mentioned to JTC that i just couldn't come up with one. He gave me Effie's phone number and she started searching suppliers that the plant had made shipments. Sure enough she came up with one. It was shipped to my FFL and I picked it up. I was thinking it would compliment the 1920's I have. Oh, it shoots well enough, but the only thing it has in common with a 1920 is that they both are bolt guns in the same caliber. There the similarity ends. But to Effie, she is to Savage what JTC was to the ledgers.
