I would also concur this is more likely an accidental release (as in sloppy lab procedures resulting in contamination that walked out the door). I would also point out I do not expect a vaccine any time soon, if ever. This is a RNA virus and they will always mutate. This one mutates faster. By the time a vaccine has been tested for one you have 50 or so mutations that don't work with it. HIV is a classic RNA virus. We still have no vaccine after billions thrown in that direction. Can this be deadly? yes. Does it spread very fast? yes. When we see the total number of people exposed to the virus and compare to the mortality figures I expect it will be far from the original estimates from the WHO, CDC, NIH, etc. Just as in this group of people who read and post here - there are many in the health care field with their own confirmational bias. I expect in retrospect we will see the shortcomings of looking at a new situation with pre-set blinders on. This would apply to the health care approach, the organized pandemic response approach and the political approach taken by countries to do what they felt was needed to protect their citizens. When the final story is written I would hope all can learn from this and not make the same mistakes next time. Currently, I would take any bets on this last one.

Do you realize that any researcher that has done anything of note has been discredited at one time or another? That the only way to NOT be discredited is to do NOTHING?

Tyrone. She's an anti-vaccination activist. That puts her in the same camp as young earth geologist, and flat earth cosmologist.

You ought to try reading the warnings on labels some time. You act like there isn't anything worth knowing on those. Apparently, you've been asleep for the last 50 years to reports of contaminated vaccs too.

Here, you can at least check out the AE DB:

Here's something too that will piss you off (I know this because I know how Progressives are):

People like me let people like you be guinea pigs for this sort of stuff.

This is why Progressives are largely in favor of mandatory vaccination. It's a jealousy thing.

Are you still letting other people be the guinea pigs for seat belts? Makes about as much sense.

You look at the stats, and you take your best chance.

I do. And I let you guinea pigs take the shots. There's enough of you to achieve the vaunted herd immunity.
