Our SIL just texted. The baby was delivered and his umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around one arm. It was treated like a normal delivery and they got to see and hold the baby. Thank you to all who have prayed and given kind words.

Dave Dave I attended a delivery some years ago of a somewhat premature infant. The baby was fine remarkably healthy for his age, but the father who was closely watching the delivery turned white as a sheet, I thought he was going to pass out so I alerted the nurse. When I brought the infant to the warmer to further asses him the father followed and he told me he was fine but that their previous baby had died at 27 weeks due to a true knot in the cord and he paniced when he saw that this baby also had a true knot (but not tight).
