LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD/Gray News) - Blue Bell will be paying $19.35 million in fines and their former president, Paul Kruse, has been charged with seven felony counts alleging that he attempted to cover up what the company knew about a listeria outbreak in 2015.
The brand they built was amazing when you think about the fact that their product was literally killing people and people were pizzed about the recall. I don’t recall which one but one of the Bass brothers bought the company for a ridiculously low price during the recall
Probably because the culud people have been going in grocery stores, taking the cover off, and licking it.
They had leaks in the plant which causes a listeria outbreak and the allegation is that instead of shutting it down, fixing the leak and sanitizing everything the ceo kept the production lines running for several days. Multiple People ended up dead
Listeria came from poorly sterilized equipment and not from some lady who’d recently “serviced Tyrone.” Which brings me back to my original point of not caring about Listeria and also helped bring to surface your lightly disguised fantasy....about some woman servicing Tyrone.
