Looking for a long action Ruger Tang Safety RL or RLS. I’m not concerned about the condition of the stock but would ideally like clean metal. Not extremely picky on caliber, but 30-06 wouldn’t be my first pick....
I bought a stock and I’m itching to drop an action in it.
Thanks.

I've always wanted one in 270. My dad had one in the 80s but had to sell it off to pay bills. I gave him a regular one a few years ago to replace it but the RL rarely show up.

I have a tang safety RLS I'd sell, but unfortunately it's a short action .308 and has a nearly perfect stock.

I have an RL in 243. It is one of those guns you keep.

I’m gonna dig through the safe this weekend. I have some RL and RLS in 308 & 30-06. Gonna start thinning the heard out. I may just keep all the RSI’s and sell the others.

I've got one in 243, an RL in perfect condition with Ruger 1" rings.
As far as terminology for these rifles, it's R for Rifle, L for Lightweight, S for sights.

They are MUCH better handling than the R and RS versions
And the compacts are not as balanced imo.
