BILLINGS, Mont. -- A Wyoming man was in stable condition Friday after being attacked by a grizzly in Park County.
The man, 41-year-old Spencer Smith, was flown to a Billings, Montana, hospital after a bear attack Friday morning near Cody.
Smith was hunting for antlers in the East Painter Creek area in Park County Friday morning when a grizzly attacked him, according to a notice on the Park County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
Smith sustained a "severe" neck injury, according to an emergency call to the sheriff's office at 10:47 a.m., the post notes.
Rescue teams first found Smith's four-wheeler, and then Smith. He was loaded into a helicopter at 12:01 p.m. and flown to St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings.
He was described as alert and "in stable condition," the sheriff's office said.
Park County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming Game and Fish and Guardian Flight all responded to the scene.

Because our elected officials and fish and game dept. doesnt have the nuts to stand up to the libtards in this state. Just look what happened with the wolf we sat on the sidelines while wyoming and idaho fought to get to hunt them, same thing when they tried to hunt the G- bear we sat on the sidelines.
Montana is turning more and more to the left it's sad times.

Montana only chance in hell to get things turned around is if we get a governor this election who wants to get " ALL" our predators under control. Appoint a game commission and Trump administration who wants to do something about it also.

Indeed, the "solution" is to ELECT traditional valued pro-America candidates for offices - top to bottom.
I started Hunting big game and Varmints in Montana in 1968 and did so every year for many weeks per year. Then in 1997 I moved to Montana and since then I Hunt year round - spending a lot of time both in the back country and in the foothills - I contend the predators have multiplied by 3 (three!) times in the last 52 (fifty two!) years!
Then the cretin politicos decided in 1995 to transplant Canadian Wolves into Montana along with taking Grizzly Bears off of the big game Huntable list!
Nothing good for the Hunters (who paid dearly and for a long time to revive our big game herds) will come from maintaining so many types and high populations of predators.
Grizzly bears indeed should be Hunted - no NOT to extinction (for you few peta dipschits on here!) - but they should NOW indeed be re-listed as big game.
