Watching it on the tube. Just before they collaborate with the German tank crew Eastwood, Sutherland and Savalas approach the tank, line abreast. Spaghetti western music....cracked me up. WOOF WOOF!
I am..........disturbed. Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain

Great movie! I never understood why the guys in the minefield didn't just play dead.

Cause they would have been more deader .

One bit I always liked was when they come out of the railroad tunnel and blast things to pieces while playing All for the Love of Sunshine on their loudspeaker. Then they drive away playing I've Been Working on the Railroad.
Good movie!

See if he’ll make a deal. What kind of deal? A deal, deal, maybe the guy’s a Republican.

I don't think so, the Germans would have been very busy with the guys that they knew were alive.

We got a secret weapon here, we use this piece of pipe on our guns and the Germans think maybe it’s a 90mm or something. One of the best movies ever. My buddies and I used to reinact the scenes all the time as kids. Hey hey, I got one!!! What kind is it? The kind that blows up, how they hell should I know??? Good grief, I’m gonna have to drag it out.

Remake? No please Dear God! After seeing what they did with Magnificent Seven and 3:10 To Yuma, I’d much rather leave Kelly’s Heroes alone. Drama and acting gets replaced with computer generated explosions and massive amounts of gunfire. I’d love to see a movie about the CSS Alabama, if they’d tell the story story era like they did with the CSS Hunley or Gettysburg. But for crying out loud, leave the classics alone. 7mm

A remake would never do it justice.
