First I thought it was the scope that came on it a 3x9 Center point, could not get it to sight in. I noticed a little crack in the plastic "suppressor" and I looked down the barrel. Sure enough I could see some intrusion into the bore line. I guess the cocking of the rifle less than 150 times cracked the suppressor and caused it to misalign. No problem removed the front piece and broke off the baffles. Went to sight in and no dice the Centerpoint is also toast. Would not move POI at all. So I cast about in my junk scope pile and came across a package scope that came on a Walmart ADL brand new. After getting it sighted in the rifle is back to tackdriver status and the sparrows that keep driving off my Bluebirds will see some population control soon. It is a lot louder without the suppressor and I am sure the Gamo Tomahawks are light enough that I am getting a supersonic crack. Don't care!

the "shroud" doesn't help much past mach 1 anyway.
I think you install an air rifle rated scope (even a cheap one) because that springer/gas piston rifle might trash your replacement scope in short order.

The scope HAS to be made for spring piston guns because of the dual recoil that shakes them apart if not given support on both sides of the reticle. Scopes not supported properly don't last long. But you can try then cry. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Well the POS Centerpoint that came on it only worked for 200 shots. If this scope lasts for another 50 shots it will have served it's duty. I expect it to fail anyway.
