Hello Gents. Hoping you can help solve my debacle. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why I am seeing the barrel on all power settings on this rig setup? Plenty of clearance between the scope Bell and barrel. No issues with the bolt handle touching the scope. Any suggestions appreciated.

Is the scope level with the center axis of the rifle? Maybe the scope bases were mixed up and are on the wrong ends.
Thanks, Dinny

Yes, I would agree; switch the mounts. Does not look right.

Tried that. Holes spacing is off. Wonder if I’ve got the wrong mounts from Talley? Threw the packaging away

30 mm X 42 scope mounted low, long barrel Wby rifle. I think you'll find everything OK. I've sure seen that picture before.

30MM low Talley Rings. Wondering if I have the wrong rings? It’s got me perplexed.

Do you have another set of rings to try? It's hard to gauge perspective from the photos, but something looks amiss -- as though the objective end of the scope is going downhill. Seeing the barrel at 1.5x might be expected but not at higher magnifications.

Put a straightedge across the bottom ring halves and see what's what

This is a WBY Mark V ultralight. Not sure if it takes the same rings.
Will try what everybody is saying.

Agree that the rear ring seem higher, the scope doesn't look parallel with the action.
I'd call Talley, even send them that photo.

I think you might have one wrong ring in the package, either a shorter front or taller rear than the set should have. Is there a gap between the scope tube and the back of the rear ring or between the front of the scope tube and the top/front of front ring? Just a SWAG of course, but be careful you don't bend/kink the scope tube tightening the ring halves too much.

It’s definitely the rings. I’ll call Talley tomorrow and see what these fit. Wonder if they got the packaging mixed up a bit - it happens.
Thanks again guys!

30MM low Talley Rings. Wondering if I have the wrong rings? It’s got me perplexed. Yeah, you wonder? Did you use scope alignment tools? Maybe its a set of 20 moa +. I would have never even tightened those top cap screws personally...
