Has there been any thought to updating the search function? It’s barely usable. On other sites there’s an easy drop down to “search this forum”. That would be easier than having to scroll though all the various forums to select the one you want. Then the actual search algorithm is way too broad. It only needs to pull up the first thread, not ALL the replies the the thread which just take up pages. And it pulls up too much. For example, I recently searched the classifieds for “28 gauge”. I got pages and pages of stuff about .280 Remington rifles, 28” barreled guns, circa 1928 guns, 28 pieces of brass, model 28 pocket knives, etc. Of 10-12 pages I looked through only 2 posts were about a 28 gauge. The entire function could really use improvement.
