I wanted to pass along my experience with Whidden Gunworks customer service.
I need to state clearly up front I was a dumb [bleep], and this was completely my fault.
There I was. I had an expander ball stuck in a case neck. Long story how I got to that point. Anyway it was jammed in there pretty good, and it had become unscrewed from the decapping pin threaded stem.
I had in my other hand the decapping pin stem. I must have thought it was a great idea at the time to use the decapping pin as a pry bar to fish this jammed expander ball out of the case neck. Of course it broke off, and in such a way I could no longer use the decapping function because the pin broke in half and I couldn’t just put a new decapping pin in the stem.
I called Whidden to tell them the story and purchase a new one. I relayed this was completely my fault. I offered a couple times to pay for the replacement.
They shipped one out no charge. Got it today. Thanks Wiley!
