Gents can you give an idea on the rough value of the misc lot of bits I’ve got here..
Some surface rust from sitting so I hit them very lightly with some steel wool

Tried to capture the sizes on most but can certainly clarify any more information if it would be helpful. I’d like to move the lot of them on to someone who can put them to use

A lot, price them out over at McMaster-Carr and then set a percentage of that you'd like to get.

Couldn't say.....

The demand for MT drills and reamers is going to be a small shop market IMO

The mill cutters won't pull much $$

You might get $150/$200 for the lott

Count on getting most, if not all of them resharpened. Nothing like a dull tool to ruin a job in a heartbeat!

Put add In classifieds for what you want for the lot. You can reduce price until they sell.

Anyone worth their salt that's buying them better know how to sharpen a drill

Try a local shop. Some of those have been shortened by sharpening already. every old shop has a bin full of those.

🤔 maybe get someone to turn the shanks down to 3/8 inch so you can chuck them in a hand drill. Preferably with flats. 😁

Can I hide and watch you sharpen those reamers and end mills?

No need to hide at all

Come on by our shop.....we have several cutter grinders

I could "show off" by turning the cutters into ball cutters or anything angled....

HS and Carbide ready

You don't have much value there, a guy can go online to Mcmaster - Carr and buy new stuff to size for what they need, the drills are lathe tools. you need to bore holes to size , and high speed end mills are only used by people that have them, no ones buying them unless they are milling wood, high spiral whoops ass on every thing else. take what anyone offers you !

Would make me cringe when a mulewright asked me to turn the shank down on some of those drills. I'd warn them that it wasn't my fault when they broke their wrist.
