I bag shake cut-okra in white flour, do that a couple times a week in the summer when it’s coming in good. I put out 3-60 ft rows of it last week.

Some people like their okra in corn meal.

Be late June before the grease get hots. 😃

In a flour shortage, you can use peroxide and look for the bubbles.

Our stores have both. We probably go through a pound of flour every couple of years. We use stevia instead of sugar. We have a box of it with a million or so packets. My wife can bake old school we just don't eat much of anything baked once the boys left.

Kooks here too, apparently. Have not had store-bought bread nor cake in the house in many years. I buy flour (both whole wheat and unbleached all purpose) in 25# bags, sugar in 5 or 10 depending on per pound price of each. Can’t understand getting those items in the store, but I don’t have an EBT card either. wink

Both of us can sew a button on, too. Crazy, huh?

Also, there have been many stories on news and social media about “therapeutic baking” during these trying times.

Yet another example of why social media is a haven for weak minded idiots.
