I have a package that was ordered and shipped from Arkansas on March 31 or April 1. Last update was that it was in the processing plant in Miami on April 9.

It's the excuse I get from the owner of the hardware store when my part isn't in.
When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites

The virus hasn’t affected my mailman. He is still putting mail in the wrong box, same as before.
He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice.

Lockdown has final mile providers stressed.
E-Commerce is pushing players like USPS, FedEx and UPS hard. Almost every day in April had more e-com activity than your average Black Friday.
Lots of volume, velocity is up - mistakes will be made.

Is the virus affecting USPS?
It might be.......... Reports are saying that one particular ethnicity has been hit harder by the covid bug than most others, and its the same ethnicity that 92.873% of all postal workers belong to.
It's official. I missed the selfie deadline so I'm Maser's sock puppet because rene and the Polish half of the fubar twins have decided that I am.

Two rifles shipped from Montana and Tennessee took nearly 3-weeks each.
On the tracking page, there is a link to submit an inquiry.
I did that on the second one, and got a call from my local postmaster who managed to get it shook loose from the Nashville facility the next day. Arrived a few days later.
I would suggest submitting an inquiry. My package sat in Nashville for 8 days before I submitted mine.

My daughter ordered a pair of shoes from Addias in March. We didn't get excited on slow delivery, virus and all...
Tracking showed them in Pittston Pa, 200 miles away. For a week or more, she didn't look at details or understand.
It showed delivery, and signed for. (How often do you actually sign anymore?)
On the day she ordered!
Fed(up)X gave her the run around over the time lapse. WTF! Adidas tried, until Grizzmom got on the phone. Refund then.
I ordered my wife Darntough socks on 5/2 for mothers day. Had free shipping, paid $6 UPS to get them in 5-7 days. Damn things have been tracking in Machigan for the last 3 days.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

When FedEx said F-U to Amazon and fired them as a customer, they basically put their eggs in Walmart's e-commerce basket as a way to replace Amazon's volume and density in FedEx's network. Walmart has asked them for more capacity during quarantine- FedEx said no. There's none to be had. Tapped out. We've had issue too - supposed to pick up Monday, doesn't actually pick till next day or later - screws up entire promised situation as it just cascades down the supply chain.

Most of the postal workers are temps now. They are "supervised" by 90 day wonders (temps that made full time and started supervising after their 90 probation). What could go wrong?

I have stuff over a month overdue. The big post office near Detroit is a total disaster right now.
